Hello from Providence, Rhode Island! I arrived here on Friday, after a full week of beautiful weather and great fun in Washington, D.C. I love catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, photographing kids, and savoring every hello, hug, and conversation.
Here is a preview from one of my Washington, D.C., shoots last week – the adorable twins Molly & Tess! We had beautiful soft afternoon sunlight for our shoot near their home just outside D.C.

Cuties! I love the one with their arms wrapped tight around eachother and their heads thrown back. I am imagining that one will sit on some future bedside tables when these little ones are grown.

Laura, you did an amazing job of capturing Molly and Tess! They had a lot of fun posing, and I think that shows in their faces. I really like how you captured them being sweet — and goofy, too. Neat scratching and grayscale with the first one for a cool vintage effect. Great seeing you, and I hope you had a ton of fun on your trip!
